Here's what I want to know... how much time do you spend cooking? Or, does it become second nature? Sometimes I worry that I am becoming the mom who serves "[fill in the blank] surprise"!

I am cooking a lot this month. I do like to cook, but it can be exhausting.

I often do the bread during the day, while I'm working. Then chop and cook away for dinner. Other times, I try to cook extra stuff ahead of time -- partly to make sure I use all the veggies in our farm share.

Sunday morning I made baked two kinds of bread, and made two vegetable dishes -- all while listening to the radio. However, then I didn't want anyone to eat it -- I felt like it should last awhile.
